Growing mushrooms at home can be easy, rewarding and not nearly as difficult as you might think. The common mushroom (Agaricus spp.) grows easily on compost, held in trays, bags, boxes or raised beds. In this course, you'll learn common terms, how to make your own compost, how to work through the spawning process, and how to use casing. It also includes material on pests and diseases, controls for pests and diseases, and the harvest process.
